1. Who we are and what these Terms cover

echotimber.com is run by TIMBERECHO LLC, which trades as Echotimber ("Echotimber", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service apply whenever you browse the site, create an account or buy from us. Placing an order means you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Shipping Policy and our Refund Policy. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. The store runs on the Shopify platform.

2. Using the site

To place an order you must be old enough to sign a binding contract where you live. Please give us accurate contact, billing and delivery details and keep them up to date. Keep your account password private; activity under your account is your responsibility.

3. Our furniture

Every Echotimber piece is made to order from solid oak. Product images on this site are digital renderings of each design, not photographs of a finished piece; your piece is built to the dimensions and finish you choose. Grain, knots, colour and small surface marks differ from board to board, so your piece will not be identical to the images or to another piece of the same design. These differences come from the material and are not defects. Screens also show colour differently. Product pages give dimensions in inches; made-to-order pieces can vary slightly from the stated size. We may stop offering a design at any time.

4. Made to order

We build each piece after your order is confirmed, at our own workshop in Hai Duong Province, Vietnam, and ship it directly to you. Production and delivery times are explained in our Shipping Policy. They are estimates; if your order will take longer, we tell you by email.

5. Prices, payment and import charges

All prices are in US dollars. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Diners Club cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay; payments are processed securely at checkout by our payment providers. No sales tax or other taxes are added to your order, so the price shown at checkout is the total you pay. Standard delivery within the United States is free. For deliveries to the United States we pay import duties and customs fees, so the carrier will not ask you for payment on arrival. We may decline or cancel an order if a price was shown in error, if an item cannot be made, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund the full amount. Prices and offers can change, but a change never affects an order we have already confirmed.

6. Cancellations, returns and warranty

You can cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, and every piece carries a 12-month craftsmanship warranty. The full conditions, including who pays return shipping in each situation, are in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Custom pieces

If we agree to make a piece to your own size, finish or design, the details we confirm with you in writing become part of your order. Custom pieces cannot be returned for a change of mind, but they are covered if they arrive damaged, are defective, or differ from what we agreed. Production times for custom pieces are estimates.

8. Content and intellectual property

The text, designs, photos, graphics and logos on this site belong to Echotimber or to the people who licensed them to us. You may not copy, republish or sell them without our written permission.

9. Things you may not do

Do not use the site to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to upload harmful code, to collect other people's personal data, to interfere with how the site works, or to give false information when ordering.

10. Limits on our liability

Apart from the commitments made in these Terms and in our policies, the site and our products are provided without further promises, express or implied. As far as the law allows, Echotimber is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or our products. Our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. None of this removes rights that consumer protection law gives you.

11. Indemnity

If you break these Terms or the law and a claim is made against Echotimber as a result, you agree to cover the losses and costs that we, our members and our staff reasonably incur because of it.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The version published on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.

13. Governing law

The laws of the State of Montana, United States, apply to these Terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away any protection given to you by the consumer laws of the state where you live.
